m18 R1, running hot, slight flicker, registration issues

Good morning, I purchased an Alienware M18 R1 AMD model open box from Best Buy at the beginning of March. Since I have purchased it, I have noticed that even at "balanced" just running YouTube will make this CPU (7845HX) run in the low to mid 90s.(thats C not F) Gaming about the same. Now I have set the ICC Offset to 15 which caps it at 85c and havent noticed any performance drops, but still. Just running Chrome or Edge should not make that thing cook like that unless it either doesnt have enough thermal compound on it or the CPU isnt getting proper contact with the heatsink (airflow isnt an issue).

Secondly, When web browsing, or doing just general computing (havent really noticed it when gaming) there is a slight flicker in the display. its too fast to let me know what kind of flicker so I am unsure. Note this flicker doesnt happen when Im running Hyrbid/Optimus. Only when its dedicated GPU only. (GPU temps are fine BTW, better than I would have expected for a RTX 4070)

Thirdly is a regsitration of this laptop. I have been trying since mid march to register this thing and it still isnt listed in "My Products" as Id like to extend thae warranty on this if Im able to. I have tried 4 sperate times with no luck.

Any advice would be appreciated.
