Before I was playing on a BAD machine that I shouldnt have been playing css with, was getting like 30 fps and my ping was always 30-90 sometimes rarely maxed at 100. Mind you I still live in the same place same internet connection.. but now with the new computer I get great fps on full graphics now BUT my ping is always over 100.
Why is this?? anyone any ideas? One more thing before i was on XP now im on VISTA. Thanks ahead of time!

Yea I did it! I upped it to about 3000 points its actually at 2998. There’s guys that did do it to 3000 but I’m fine. I did get outstanding results of course I was using ntune. I wanted to use ATI tools but I don’t know how to use it.
I'm looking into upgrading my nephew's Dell 5150 with a 305W PSU.
I've read alot of very helpful posts and was wondering if someone can give me a link to an official Dell explanation of the median rating used being under typical max ratings, or just something from them confirming the rating is median.
And would the Dell 305W be able to handle the 8800 series GPU cards or is that pushing it a bit too far? If not would a 375W Dell PSU cope with them?
Does anyone have any FPS numbers for Call of Duty 1 or 2 and Battlefield 2 with an 8600? I'm kind of doubting it will be able to handle battlefield 2 but hey, its worth a try...
